Jammu Kashmir is a state in northern India. It is located in the mountains, and shares borders with the states of Punjab & Himachal Pradesh to the south. About Kashmir

 Kashmir is just like a crown of queen in the map of India. It changes it shades with the change of seasons, seasons that are always elegant and colourful.  Kashmir is surrounded by Great Himalayan Range from north and Pir Panjal range from south. Kashmir has rivers which flow down the valleys.

Kashmir is called ‘Paradise on Earth’. Many of the formal, waterfront gardens are known as Mugal gardens. Four or five centuries of Mughals dedicated their respect and love for Kashmir and also contribute in its development. They were kind enough to respect art and craft talent of people of Kashmir.

Kashmir has four seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each season has its own features with its own beauty. Spring extend from March to early May comes up with a million blossoms.

Summer extends from May until the end of August. Temperature at day time can be recorded to 25 to 35 degree Celsius. Autumn is considered as the loveliest season in Kashmir. It comes towards September. Temperature can be 23 degree Celsius and goes down to 10 degree Celsius  bu October. Then it goes down till November. This is the time where you really going to need heavy woolens. From beginning of December to the march it is winter time. This season cover the beautiful Kashmir by snow which makes this city even more mesmerizing.

Beautiful Place to Visit in Kashmir:


The Beautiful Capital Srinagar: Srinagar, The Switzerland Of India is the most popular place to visit In Kashmir. It is located in Northern India. This comes under the top most “must visit hill stations” in India. Srinagar is influenced by mugals. Srinagar is the place where you can enjoy throughout the year. But if you are a winter and snow lover then you must visit there from December to February. People who want to enjoy in shikaras and house boats in lakes can go there in April to October. In these months gardens would be in full bloom.

Pahalgam: Pahalgam is located at height of 7200 feet,92 km away from Srinagar. This is one of the favorite location for movie shooting. This is one of the camp area during Amarnath Yatra. There are many things to enjoy like rafting etc.

Gulmarg: Gulmarg is a city of mountain resort with heart taking beauty. It is also entitled with highest golf course in the world. It has the longest ropeway called the Gulmarg Gandola. Gandola can carry maximum 6 people at a time. You can see the beauty of the place throughout this ride.

Sonamarg: Sonamarg means ‘Meadow of Gold”. It is situated at the altitude of 2730 meters.Thajiwas glacier is a must visit place during summers. This place is filed with the fragrance of sycamore and alpine flowers, silver birch, fir and pine.

Leh/Ladakh : The undisputedly beautiful desert of ladakh is one of the best places to visit for a traveler.People get mesmerized with the breath taking beauty of this cold desert and the beautiful photogenic locations. Trekking, Rafting, festivals there are many more things to enjoy in Leh.
